Talavera pottery is a type of majolica earthenware of a distinct creamy- white glazed decoration produced only  in the State of Puebla in Mexico. Talavera Poblana is the oldest tin-glazed ceramic in America and it is still being manufactured with the same techniques as in the 16th Century.

Authentic Talavera pottery is the ceramic ware produced by certified workshops in the state of Puebla Mexico following the traditional Talavera process introduced by the Spaniards in the 16th Century.
